We Can Code IT Selected by Amazon as Software Development Training Partner
We Can Code IT (WCCI) has been named as one of 10 Ohio-based schools chosen by Amazon to offer training to Amazon employees. WCCI was chosen based on its strong reputation as “Best Bootcamp” and history of training and placing its student and graduate populations. The web and software development coding boot camp touts a 90%+ placement rate of career-seeking students within 6 months of graduation.
Other Ohio-based partners include nine other universities and community colleges throughout the state, but We Can Code IT is one of the few that offer programs in all major Ohio cities including Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati. We Can Code IT is also the only coding bootcamp to make the list.
The budding partnership with Amazon marks the start of We Can Code IT’s new business-to-business (b2b) offerings. We Can Code IT’s Founder and CEO, Melanie McGee explains, “We Can Code IT is proud to partner with Amazon to give its employees training and career opportunities in web and software development. In a climate where companies are having a hard time attracting employees, working with We Can Code IT to reskill and upskill employees as a benefit is a wise investment.”
In addition to working with employers to offer educational resources to employees, We Can Code IT also creates customized tech training, curriculum, and instructional design for companies looking to train their employees. “Employers work with We Can Code IT in a variety of ways, including customized web and software development training curriculum. We also act as a one-stop recruiting resource for hiring managers looking for tech talent!” adds McGee.
Web and software development reskilling is only one of the offerings that We Can Code IT provides. In addition, We Can Code IT offers preparatory programs including “PreSkill” courses that focus on basic coding fundamentals and web development skills. McGee also offers up that, “UpSkill” programs for web and software professionals are also in the works.”
