This course teaches you to build a modern React application as a working JavaScript developer. You will create components, manage state, load data with effects, use the core and custom hooks, add client-side routing, and write unit tests. You finish with a small multi-page React app that loads data from an API and ships with a passing test suite.
This course is for front-end and full-stack developers, web designers who code, and back-end developers moving into user interface work.
Working knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6 and later): let and const, arrow functions, modules, destructuring, promises and async/await

Ohio's TechCred program may reimburse eligible Ohio employers up to $1,000 per person, per credential, and up to $30,000 per application, for eligible costs such as tuition and certification costs.
TechCred's maximum is $1,000 per person, per credential, toward this price.
The current application period opens at 9:00 a.m. on October 1, 2026 and closes at 3:00 p.m. on October 30, 2026.
Training must start no earlier than the first day of the application period and be completed within 12 months of the award date.
For each learner, We Can Code IT provides an itemized per-person invoice that shows the exact credential name, and a certificate that shows the learner's name, the credential and the date earned (or the vendor's exam record for certifications). We can also send a written quote to include with your TechCred application.
Pricing is the same for all customers, whether or not you use TechCred.
