Introduction to Programming Nanodegree

Your first step into programming. Learn computational thinking, problem-solving fundamentals, and programming logic through hands-on projects in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • 30 hours
  • Asynchronous online learning with videos and coaching, guided by a Student Success Manager
  • Goal(s): Build foundational programming skills and computational thinking for any tech career pathway.
  • Audience: Anyone with no prior programming experience looking to start a career in technology.
  • Prerequisites: Basic computer skills, internet access, familiarity with Zoom.

Learn computational thinking, programming logic, and problem-solving fundamentals through hands-on projects. Build web pages with HTML and CSS, create interactive applications with JavaScript, and apply Object-Oriented Programming principles. Includes an introduction to AI methods in programming — using AI coding assistants for code generation, debugging, and problem-solving. No prior programming experience required.
