Frequently asked questions
How do I start a career in cybersecurity?
Most people start with IT and networking basics, then earn an entry-level security certification such as CompTIA Security+. Cybersecurity Foundations and CompTIA A+ are good first steps if you are new to IT.
Which certification should I get first?
CompTIA Security+ is a common first security certification. If you are new to IT, CompTIA A+ and Network+ come before it. The Microsoft security certifications suit people who work in Microsoft environments.
Are exam vouchers included?
For the certification courses, each course page says whether an exam voucher is included and what else you need, such as eligibility rules for the Certified Ethical Hacker exam.
Can you train our whole team?
Yes. Groups enroll together, and we send written quotes for teams. Email admissions@wecancodeit.org or use the form on any course page.
