Want to know if we’re a good fit? Start by taking our online assessment!
Firstly, our innovative coding bootcamp is a modern, scientific way to learn software development. Unlike a typical college or career school, we immerse you in software development throughout your program. That means you’ll be eating, sleeping, and breathing code. You attend the bootcamp with the same peers you began with. You collaborate and work on projects together. You support each other in good days and bad. It’s an atmosphere that you’ve probably never experienced before in higher education. It’s innovation in programming education.
Secondly, we have full-time, software engineers as instructors. We pay our instructors a programmers’ salaries, not teachers’. This means our instructors are not “just okay.” They are highly skilled at their crafts, and do not have to sacrifice their lifestyle in order to pursue what they love: teaching.
Finally, we have an extremely personalized approach. We have a social mission of bringing women and people of color into tech. Basically, we’re not a school who is all about money. We are about changing people’s lives through technology education.
Education is broken, especially technology education.
By the time a traditional school updates their curriculum, the current technology local businesses are using has changed. Their technology curriculum becomes stale very quickly.
We are different. We listen to what employers are looking for, in fact employers advise us what they are using and what we should teach.
On top of that, and you’ll see this throughout student stories, we actually care about our students. We provide amazingly skilled staff members who are aligned with our mission-driven focus of including more people in tech and helping our students find great, lucrative new careers as software developers.
See for yourself!
