Not sure where to start?
Build web apps with AI
Go from an idea to a working, tested and published web application, no coding background required to start.

AI-Assisted Web Application Development
Build, configure and publish a database-backed web application with user sign-in and access rules, using AI coding tools directed by a written specification and managed in Git.

Security Testing and Code Review for AI-Generated Web Applications
Test, attack and secure an AI-generated web application with automated end-to-end tests, multi-model AI code review and hands-on red-teaming of access control, injection, secrets and AI features.

Implementing AI in Software Testing
Use AI-powered tools to generate test data, select tests, predict defects and run more stable automated tests with Selenium, Katalon, Testim and Applitools.

Web Application Deployment and Operations with GitHub
Deploy a web application from GitHub to Vercel, configure a custom domain with DNS and HTTPS, manage environment secrets, release through protected pull requests, and set up monitoring, alerts and backups.
Code with AI agents
For developers and technical founders: GitHub, Copilot, Claude Code and Codex, used with plans, tests and review.

Introduction to GitHub with AI
Set up and use GitHub for real work: repositories, branches, pull requests, issues, Projects, Actions, Copilot and Codespaces, security settings, with preparation for the GitHub Foundations (GH-900) exam.

GitHub Copilot for AI-Assisted Software Development
Develop, test and review code with GitHub Copilot in the IDE, the CLI and on GitHub, configure its privacy and organization settings, and prepare for the GitHub Copilot (GH-300) exam.

Spec-Driven Software Development with Claude Code
Build software with Claude Code from written plans: configure CLAUDE.md and agent settings, write verify-first acceptance checks, build in small tested pull requests, review with a second AI model and add security checks to CI.

Spec-Driven Software Development with OpenAI Codex
Build software with OpenAI Codex from written plans: configure AGENTS.md and agent settings, write verify-first acceptance checks, build in small tested pull requests, review with a second AI model and add security checks to CI.
Lead AI-built products
For product owners, founders and team leads who decide what gets built and whether it is done.

Spec-Driven Development for Product Owners
Write specifications and executable acceptance criteria that AI coding agents can build from, configure GitHub issue forms and Projects to manage them, and verify delivered work in deploy previews.

Spec-Driven Product Delivery: Product Owner and Engineer Collaboration
Set up a shared delivery system for a product owner and engineer working with AI coding agents: a working agreement, a weekly cycle, two approval gates in GitHub, and evidence-based reviews.
AI foundations and certification
Understand how AI works, design AI products, and earn a Microsoft AI certification.

AI Foundations
How modern AI works, what it can and cannot do, and how to use it well at work.

Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals
Prepare for Microsoft's AI fundamentals certification with hands-on labs in Microsoft Foundry. The exam is included.

Designing and Building AI Products and Services

Frequently asked questions
Which AI course should I start with?
If you want to build an app and do not code, start with AI-Assisted Web Application Development. If you are a developer, start with Introduction to GitHub with AI or go straight to the Claude Code, Codex or Copilot course for the tool your team uses. If you decide what gets built, start with Spec-Driven Development for Product Owners.
Do I need to know how to code?
Not for AI-Assisted Web Application Development, Spec-Driven Development for Product Owners or AI Foundations. The Claude Code, Codex and Copilot courses expect you to be comfortable reading code. Each course page lists its prerequisites.
How are the courses delivered?
Most courses are on-demand video with hands-on labs and online support. Each course page shows its hours, delivery and what you earn, and live online or in-person sessions are available for an additional fee.
Can you train our whole team?
Yes. Groups enroll together, and we send written quotes for teams. Email admissions@wecancodeit.org or use the form on any course page.
