Cleveland and Columbus Coding Bootcamp Accepts Post-9/11 GI Bill®, Chapter 33
The Post-9/11 GI Bill® offers education and training benefits to Veterans, Service members, and their families who served at least 90 aggregate days on active duty after September 10, 2001, or were honorably discharged from active duty for a service-connected disability.
Those who meet these criteria can apply their Post-9/11 GI Bill® benefits to We Can Code IT’s coding bootcamps in Cleveland and Columbus. For approved programs, the bill not only provides education benefits, but also may cover additional costs, such as housing, books, and supplies. In some cases, Service members may also transfer unused GI Bill® benefits to their dependents.

Veteran, Pete Fittante, spent his career in the military as a First Class Petty Officer, then as a First Class Diver. After a somewhat difficult adjustment to civilian life, Pete transitioned into tech as a network administrator leading teams at National City Bank. He eventually found out about software development and the great pay, small-team orientation, and flexibility it offered. He attended We Can Code IT using VA benefits, and started the next chapter of his life.
“When people come out of the military they are used to structure. Coding is all about structure. All about challenges. All about teamwork. Those 3 things are what you learn in the military.”
