IT Bootcamp: What You Need to Know An IT bootcamp is a great option for people who want to enter the lucrative world of programming and technology without the cost and time commitment that a college education would require. Coding bootcamps can be especially beneficial for students who have trouble learning in a standard educational environment. In camp, the learning material is usually condensed into an 8 to 14-week program that’s designed to teach you everything you need to know to find a high-paying tech job quickly.
Benefits of a 14-Week Computer Programming Course As the demand for capable programmers and developers continues to grow, many companies in the IT field have relaxed their employment requirements. Gone are the days where you needed a 4-year degree and job experience just to land an entry-level position. Nowadays, tech companies are desperate for fresh talent and many are willing to employ those without degrees and without experience.
Certified Coder Boot Camp vs. College Education If you’re looking to break into the booming tech field, there’s no better time than now. But whether you’re fresh out of school or looking to make a mid-life career change, what’s the best way to get started? For those who want to find a well-paying career in IT, two of the most popular options include going to a college and a certified coder boot camp. While both paths of education are great options, there are some important differences between the two. Keep reading to learn more about which choice might be the right one for you.
