CLEVELAND, OH – Employers will have their pick of some of the best new and diverse talent on Friday, June 23 during the We Can Code IT Recruiting Day. The event will start at 10 a.m. at JumpStart Inc, 6701 Carnegie Avenue, Suite 100, Cleveland. A free lunch buffet is open for employers from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
“Cleveland-area employers are hungry for diversity in their IT departments, because it drives innovation and growth, ” said Leslie Evans, President of We Can Code IT.
Employers will see team presentations by more than 30 junior software developers, all graduates of the rigorous We Can Code IT boot camp. They will showcase real application projects highlighting their coding expertise, teamwork, creativity and presentation skills. The graduates are then seated at tables for 10-minute “speed recruiting” meetings where employers can ask questions, see recent work, and take notes for potential employment follow-up.
