COLUMBUS, OH – Diversity drives innovation and growth. It’s not just a cool idea – it’s a fact reported by sources like the Harvard Business Review. That’s why employers are hungry for diversity in IT departments. Businesses in Columbus will have their pick of some of the best new and diverse talent at the We Can Code IT Career Day and recruiting event on Monday, April 17 at 8:30 a.m. – noon at the OSU Fawcett Center, 2400 Olentangy River Road, Columbus. Free beverages and refreshments will be served.
Employers will see team presentations by more than 20 of the best and brightest new software developers, all graduates of the rigorous We Can Code IT boot camp. They will showcase real application projects highlighting their coding expertise, teamwork, creativity and presentation skills. The graduates are then seated at tables for 10-minute “speed recruiting” meetings where employers can ask questions, see recent work, and take notes for potential employment follow-up.
